Home Groups
St Andrews currently has two house groups meeting on a regular basis. One group meets monthly on a Tuesday evening, the other meets weekly on Thursday evenings.
The groups provide an informal atmosphere where each member will feel comfortable and at ease to join in discussions. The small group setting is a good place to ask questions and discuss points - which isn't always so easy within the normal Sunday service setting!
We have found the groups to be a great source of fellowship, together with mutual support and encouragement; great friendships have been forged and for many there has been a growth in personal confidence as a result.
The evenings vary and include bible studies, discussions and prayer, as well as social activities such as barbeques - one group (no clues) is known for its consumption of cake!!! Sunday lunches have even been cooked and served in aid of charity.
