Praymate's parent and toddler group is a group that takes place every Wednesday in school term time. We start at 10.00am in the chapel where we have a simple toddler friendly service which consists of a couple of songs with actions, a short bible story or story with a Christian message and a prayer. After the service everyone is invited to the upper room where toys are out as well as a craft activity ready for the children to do. Refreshments are available. At 11.00am the toys get packed away to make space for singing time which ends the session at approx. 11.20am.
At Praymate's we aim to serve the local community by providing a friendly and informal place where adults can come and relax and meet and make friends whilst their children play safely. We also hope that they are able to learn about the Christian faith in a way that's appropriate for the age range (0-3's mostly) and to experience Gods love for them in this place. By having a regular team of committed helpers we try to build relationships with both adults and children and hope that we can be there if people need someone to share or chat with.
