Values
We have identified the following 8 core values as underpinning our life as a church. These values hold true across all ages and groups within the church from the youngest to the oldest.

To worship wholeheartedly, by offering ourselves to God in the power of the Spirit - Passionate Spirituality
To seek an ever deepening relationship with Jesus Christ bringing wholeness in our lives - Loving Relationships
To be a community loving one another in tangible ways with the love God gives us - Root Groups
To encourage authentic relationships and discipleship in small groups that aim to multiply - Gift-orientated Ministry
That each person knows and uses their God given gifts to serve in Christ's name - Need-orientated Mission
To share with others God's message of love and to serve them as Christ did - Empowering Leadership
To equip, release, support and motivate people in discipleship and service - Structures, Buildings and Finance
To continually identify and generate the necessary resources for growth towards our vision
"One Church, Many Congregations"
St. Margaret's is now "One Church with Many Congregations". At the moment we have 6 regular congregations - 3 on Sundays and 3 during the week. It is interesting to note that we now have approximately 100 regular worshippers during the week. Each congregation is different, in particular the style of worship varies between them, and we encourage this as a way of welcoming more people. We are held together by a common vision and by a commitment to the 8 core values.
This approach of "One Church with Many Congregations" is a significant part of our future strategy, both for nurturing existing members, and reaching out to new people with the love of Christ.
